Data and Security
Security and Privacy
At Cendo, we ensure that both your data and your users' sensitive information are in safe hands. To comply with GDPR, businesses must know where their data is stored, which is why transparency is key when it comes to storing data for the add-ons used on your website. Therefore, at Cendo, we take the way we work, store, and process the data generated in connection with the chat conversations we have with all our customers very seriously.
Data Storage at Microsoft Azure
Our data is handled with the utmost security at Microsoft Azure's data centers in Dublin, Ireland, ensuring that all stored data remains within the EU's borders. By using Microsoft Azure, we can guarantee compliance with strict European data protection laws. To protect the integrity of our data, both the sending and receiving of data are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
Protection of User Privacy
We prioritize user privacy in every aspect of our service. We refrain from storing sensitive or personally identifiable information, including IP addresses, and ensure that all conversations are treated with full anonymity. We also anonymize data such as CPR numbers, registration numbers, etc. Our commitment to user confidentiality is at the core of how we deliver our chat service: reliable, secure, and private.
Approach to Data Use in AI
Through our partnership with Anthropic, we consciously choose not to reuse the data generated through the use of our chatbot solutions to retrain AI models. To enhance security and quality, we implement a zero retention policy where user data is not stored after processing. Anthropic complies with GDPR by ensuring that data transfers outside the EEA and the UK either occur to countries with adequate protection levels recognized by the European Commission or through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission under Article 46 of GDPR.
Maintenance of Cendo
To continually improve and optimize our chat solution, we store necessary data, such as conversation logs, used for statistical analysis, quality control, and billing purposes. Data is stored as long as the contract is in effect. Upon termination, we commit to deleting the data within 30 days to ensure we continue to comply with our data processing agreement and respect the user's right to data deletion.
Transparency and Agreements
A key aspect of GDPR is to create transparency and trust between businesses and customers. At Cendo, we take pride in our openness and clarity regarding our data processing agreements. Our documents are available to all our customers and contain details on how we handle data, as well as our commitments to GDPR.
Interest and Responsibility for Data
We prioritize our customers' interests and take responsibility for the data we process. This means that we not only comply with GDPR but also go beyond the regulations to ensure our users receive the best and safest experience. We work hard to maintain a high level of data security and stay updated with the latest security measures and technologies.
